Concern about Milosevic's health
Blic - July 25, 2002

The Hague - Before testimony of Rade Markovic the Trial Chamber of the Hague Tribunal expressed concern about health of Slobodan Milosevic. The Chamber suggested taking a lawyer, but Milosevic refused that suggestion.

The chairing Judge Richard May said that according to medical report there was 'a serious cardio-vascular risk' and that careful supervision of Milosevic's health was necessary in the future. Judge May also said that after receipt of report of the cardiologist, the Trial Chamber would decide about the further course of the trial.
