Nikolic leads latest poll

BELGRADE -- Friday – The most popular choice for Serbian president according to poll results released today is still Serbian Radical Party deputy leader Tomislav Nikolic.

The poll, by Belgrade agency Faktor Plus, puts Democratic Party leader Boris Tadic in second place with the governing coalition’s Dragan Marsicanin third.

Business magnate Bogoljub Karic is in fourth place.

The ratings of all candidates except Tadic have grown since the latest poll.

The telephone survey was carried out between May 18 and 26 on a sample of two thousand Serbian citizens.
