Haradinaj "handed indictment"

PRISTINA -- Wednesday – Podgorica daily Dan claims today that Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has been handed a Hague indictment.

According to the report, Haradinaj will have to report to The Hague by the end of January.

Quoting sources close to the Kosovo Government, the paper writes that the indictment will have to be revealed to the public very soon.

The Hague Tribunal has charged Haradinaj with war crimes against Serbs and other non-Albanian Kosovars in the village of Glođan and at the Radonjicko Lake, writes Dan.

Hague Tribunal investigators are known to have questioned Haradinaj several times in November last year.  Serbia-Montenegro officials reacted strongly to his election as prime minister of the province.
