Strpce, 21 February: Strpce municipality head Stanko Jakovljevic told FoNet today that the UN international police's official statement regarding yesterday's attack against the coach driving to Belgrade, denying that the coach had been shot at with firearms, was "throwing dust in the eyes of world public opinion".

All passengers and the police team whose member had carried out an investigation immediately after the attack, claim that the coach - besides having been stoned - had also been shot with a number of bullets, Jakovljevic said.

He said that a delegation from Strpce municipality would demand that US Kfor NATO-led Kosovo Force members set up protection for coaches and introduce checkpoints in the vicinity of Albanian villages from which Serbs have been attacked on several occasions so far.
