Text of report by Serbian independent news agency FoNet

Kosovska Kamenica, 24 March: The settlement of Perivojce, at the entrance to Kosovska Kamenica (most easterly Kosovo municipality), was cut off from the electricity grid today. Its inhabitants, predominantly Serbs, said that they had been officially told by the Kosovo Energy Corporation outpost that they had received an order to switch off the power from Gnjilane.

According to the inhabitants, the reason for the cut off is still not known, nor it is known when they would get the electricity back.

This settlement was cut off from the electric power grid more then a month ago, but they did get their electricity back owing to a campaign in the media.
