Milosevic must name witnesses

HAGUE -- Wednesday – Former Yugoslav president currently on trial in Hague for
war crimes, Slobodan Milosevic, has until June 11 to identify to the court and
prosecution the identity of his witnesses in his defense case.
However, he will not have to identify those witnesses for whom he fells special
security measures in revealing of identity need to be taken.
According to Judge Patrick Robinson, "Milosevic submitted a list of 1631 witness
on April 13."
“Only a small number of these witnesses were names. Most were listed using
pseudonyms." he added.
The prosecution called a total of 296 witnesses in the two years of court
proceedings thus far.
