UNIDENTIFIED PERSONS VANDALIZE PREFAB HOUSES SENT AS AID TO KOSOVO SERBS

Belgrade, 21 June: The International Press Centre in Kosovska Mitrovica said today that unidentified perpetrators had destroyed the majority of 50 prefab houses which had arrived from Russia as a part of aid to Serbs whose homes had been torched during the March violence in Kosovo.

A statement from the Press Centre said that the prefab houses had been set up in Svinjare village near Vucitrn.

The Press Centre recalled that members of Kfor (Kosovo Force) had not allowed (Zvecan-based) TV Most to tape the "aftermath of this vandalism".
