Kosovo Serb council condemns attempts to extradite four generals

Belgrade, 4 July: The Serb National Council SNV for northern Kosovo-Metohija today condemned any attempt to extradite the four military and police generals indicted by the Hague tribunal, noting that they should be awarded medals for courage and professionalism instead.

The Serbian military and police should return to Kosmet (Kosovo-Metohija) as soon as possible in order to protect the remaining Serbs and prevent new crimes, said a statement by the SNV for northern Kosovo-Metohija, signed by chairman Milan Ivanovic.
