UN VEHICLE FIRED AT IN KOSOVO, NO-ONE HURT

Kosovska Mitrovica, 10 September: A UNMIK (UN Interim Administration Mission in
Kosovo) vehicle was fired at at around 2100 (1900 gmt) this evening on the
Mitrovica-Zvecan road, UNMIK police have confirmed.
A FoNet source in the police has stated that two sniper shots were fired, adding
that four persons were in the vehicle, but that no-one was injured, since it was
an armoured vehicle.
Serbian sources, on the other hand, have stated that the vehicle was shot at
near the village of Dudin krs from the direction of the nearby Albanian village
of Zidomirici.
