SIR RICHARD MAY

It is with great sadness that the Tribunal has learned of the death of Sir Richard May earlier this morning, 1 July 2004. He was 65 years old.

Sir Richard May served with great distinction as a Judge of the ICTY for over six years from 1997 to 2004. He presided over the Milosevic trial from February 2002 until his retirement from the Tribunal in May 2004.
