Three armed men attack police patrol in Macedonia's Tetovo

An armed gang of three men attacked a police patrol in Tetovo last night 4-5 August . Jovan Buleski reports.

[Buleski] Law and order were violated in Tetovo at 0345 0145 gmt last night with the use of firearms from an Opel Vectra. Having stopped the vehicle, the police patrol tried to identify and arrest the three people inside the vehicle. One of the men opened fire at the police patrol who immediately responded to the attack.

The armed man who launched the attack managed to escape, while the other two, both from Tetovo - R.Lj, who had a pistol in his possession, and A.M. - were restrained and taken to the Tetovo Interior Ministry.
