UN CUSTOMS SEIZE AMMO AT KOSOVO-ALBANIA BORDER

Presenter: UNMIK (UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo) customs officials
have confiscated 70 packages of ammunition at the border with Albania, found in
a vehicle moving into Kosovo from Albania. The customs officials, aided by the
Kosovo police, discovered 4,900 pieces of ammunition of 7,62mm calibre hidden
underneath the seat of the car, inside the doors and in the tank. The police
detained the driver and other passengers accompanying him in the vehicle.
