Kosovo Serb official's father target of bomb attack

Kosovska Vitina, 23 January: An unidentified person hurled a bomb at the home of Slobodan Todorovic in the village of Cernica near Kosovka Vitina last night. Slobodan is the father of Milorad Todorovic, deputy chairman of the Coordination Centre for Kosovo-Metohija.

Milorad Todorovic said that no-one was injured in the attack but that considerable damage was caused. He said that this was the sixth attack on his parent's house, one of the six remaining Serb homes in the lower part of Cernica, which is surrounded by Albanian houses.

The Kosovo police have inspected the site of the attack and launched an investigation.
