NATO HELICOPTERS BUZZED BOSNIAN SERB CAPITAL WHEN DISMISSALS ANNOUNCED
SRNA - June 30, 2004

Banja Luka, 30 June: Sfor (NATO-led Stabilization Force) helicopters today buzzed the centre of Banja Luka between 1200 (1000 - when Paddy Ashdown's decision on dismissing Bosnian Serb officials was due to be announced) and 1230 today.

The deputy spokesman of the Multinational Operational Group Northeast, Steve Forge (as received), has confirmed for SRNA that this was "a routine operation".

He did not want to say how many helicopters were flying over Banja Luka nor to comment today's action.
