Bosnian Serb Republic president: Bosnia not to
unite under current president
SRNA - July 5, 2004
Banja Luka, 5 July: There can be no true reconciliation of peoples in Bosnia-Hercegovina
with Bosnia-Hercegovina Presidency chairman Sulejman Tihic heading it, the
Bosnian Serb Republic President Dragan Cavic's cabinet stated today.
"Tihic's policy is based on hatred. No-one in Bosnia-Hercegovina should live in
the illusion that history will be written by one side only," the information
service of Cavic's cabinet stated today, after Tihic had stated yesterday that
"the Bosnian Serb forces committed 90 per cent of all the war crimes in the past
war".
The statement added that "the Serb nation in Bosnia-Hercegovina will not be a
victim of the strategies by Sulejman Tihic, Islamic cleric radicals and
religious fanatics, followers of former Bosnia-Hercegovina President Alija
Izetbegovic, creator of the Islamic Declaration document he published in 1970,
demanding full-fundamentalist Muslim state and the cult of shehids martyrs and
wahabis".
The cabinet of the Serb Republic president stated that Tihic, in the function of
daily politics, "is yet again undertaking an action against the Serb nation and
the Serb Republic. He, as an alchemist of history, disseminates untruths and
promotes the thesis about guilt on the pan-Serbian basis".
