Non-Albanian pupils in Kosovo-Metohija
attacked
Tanjug - September 3, 2004
14:34 BELGRADE , Sept 3 (Tanjug) - Serb and other non-Albanian students are
facing increasingly serious and worrying problems at the beginning of school
year, the Union of Serb Municipalities and Settlements in Kosovo-Metohija said
on Friday.
"An attack at students in the village of Popovac near Strpce, stoning of a
school bus in Gnjilane, the fact that a Serb school in Kosovo Polje has remained
closed are just some of the examples of torture to which the youngest ones are
exposed," the association said.
